I'm currently using a 1995 vintage RCBS hand priming tool.  It still functions well but I saw the APS bench priming tool and was considering getting one.

If you use one what do you think about it?

I use the regular non-APS RCBS bench mount primer and love it, it's better than all other primer seating methods and I've tried a bunch of them.

Sorry, I haven't used one...just the APS hand primer.  That one I like.  I also use a Pro 2000 press with APS.

However here is a review from Realguns.com....maybe that will help you decide.

If you like CCI's and buy them preloaded in strips, you will enjoy the safest and fastest way to prime.  If you prefer other brands of primers, then you will need the strip loader.  Loading 100 primers in 4 strips takes about the same time as pecking 100 into a primer tube.

It works pretty good.

Now that I have a progressive press it doesn't get used as often. During primer shortages you can usually find the CCI primers in the strips when all others are out of stock.

Good article.  It was exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks.

Since I have CCI and Federal primers I'll get the strip loader too.
