Been picking up brass for the last year and the idiot light came on––why not reload that stuff.  Watched all the youtube vids and reading here there everywhere so I'm just about ready to go.   Also have a neighbor who loads .45 by the boat load so he should save me from myself.  I ended up going with a T-mag.  Not sure you can go too wrong these days but with smaller plinking round batches the goal it kind of puts me between a single and a progressive.  I also thought since all my brass will be fired, I better take care in sizing and this will make it a little quicker to just spin the turret around.  I thought I might get a round bench and just spin that, so I don't wear it out  My other choice was a rock chucker or even the lee turret, but the price was very good on the Lyman, so that sealed the deal.

Eventually you will have more equipment if you do this for a while.  Probably the best thing to have is an accurate scale - its always good not to blow yourself up.  If you were to say what caliber s you will be loading someone might be able to give you a tip or two. Rifle cartridges require the case length be trimmed almost every time shot. Rimmed pistol cases seem to load the easiest. Semi auto pistols tend to be picky.  If loading only for a semi auto pistol in one caliber I would go with Dillon's square deal.  I have had a rock chucker for a long long time.  Good Luck. Do not exceed the loads listed in the book.

just be safe and get a couple of loading manuals and work up loads and double check everything, pistol cases are easy to double charge

I find watching someone showing me what to do is easier to learn than reading how to do it.

I'm starting with .223 and have the lyman book, not read yet so I won't jump into things until I'm 100% sure I know what I'm doing.  I got the deluxe kit with electro scale, but also have another mechanical one available.  For the bullets I have some ss109  and will shoot most through a 1/7 A2.  I was thinking TAC with 400 CCI primers as those parts are easy to obtain locally.
