Has anyone used the Smartreloader products? I searched their products on the web. They seem pretty well built/designed in Switzerland and Italy. They come with a 2 year warranty and they are reasonably priced. www.smartreloader-usa.com Anyone have some practical use on these?

http://www.smartreloader-usa.com/ Made your link hot. Looked at the presses, the SBP looks like junk. The Omega 800, very light duty looking. Mark XIV, maybe Some of their electronic equipment is known to be of very poor quality. My advice; If you are on a budget, check out Lee equipment. Their equipment works and they have a warranty on their tools.

It's Chinese. I've used the electronic powder dispenser, it's basically useless.
There's a new trend in Chicom manufacturing; selling crap made in China supposedly designed in Europe. As if that matters when it's built to the same old standards of materials and parts. The Grizzly store in Springfield, Mo. has a complete assortment of the line, which makes me believe that this is one of Shiraz Balolia's companies. |

I bought the Smartreloader S.B.P just for depriming cases and I have a hella time with just that. Basicly have to hold the shell in place with my finger just to get it to deprime. Does it work I guess yes, would I buy it again Hell NO, worst $20 I every spent.
I do have there iSD Automatic Dispenser, I like it and it takes some getting used to but it works for all the rounds I need to check and load. No Problem with it. |

How long do you have to wait on the dispenser? Aside from the normal warm up 7-10 mins, It despenses about 8-10 secs for most powders. From what I read you can change the despense time depending on powders and charges. There are a couple youtube "Lessons" you can watch about the iSD. Smartreloader iSD Automatic Dispenser Tutorials |

I didn't care for their ammo boxes, so I haven't tried anything else they sell. Same here. I'm surprised in a negative way that Midsouth Shooters Supply carries that brand. Give me brake !!! They can't even make a plastic ammo box right. You have no idea how glad I am that the Mrs. bought me the RCBS Chargemaster instead of the SR brand. Wow !! dodged a big one there. |

On a whim I added a SmartReloader Universal Reloading Tray to a CDT! order as it was three bucks.
In a word: JUNK. It's warped and the holes have lots of mold flashing that needed to be trimmed. The plastic is softer than what MTM, Hornady, and RCBS use in their trays. I have heard nothing but bad about SmartReloader products. Go with Lee instead. |

When Graf and Sons started carrying it, I emailed them telling them, to effect, that their selling of that line of stolen (copied) designs, shoddily and cheaply built, to their good customers would backfire and lose them customers. In fact, I said, my trust for them was negatively affected already.
The brief reply was, "Thanks for your concern." A few months later it disappeared from their catalog. I'm pretty sure their Italian/Switzerland connections was a front to dupe customers. There's not a trace of Swiss engineering prowess to be seen in those products.

The dispenser I tried was at Graf's Reloading, a store owned by a nephew of the owners of Graf's and Sons. It stayed on display for a couple of months, mostly to show just how piss poor it worked. This one was much slower than 8 or 10 seconds to dispense, it was so slow there was no point. I guess it's in the back, I haven't looked.
