Has anyone tried this powder yet in their AR? I hear good things about it on line, but no one here in my area has tried it yet so there is no practical application testimony. It's a ball powder and it's only been out since Jan 2012.

Both IMR-8208 and CFE 223 are great powders in 223.
In my rifle, CFE 223 was slightly more accurate with Sierra 69 gr MK's.
Your rifle may behave differently than mine.

Would this powder be suitable for heavier bullets like the Hornady 75's? I can't decide between TAC or CFE for some Sierra 69's and Hornady 75's.

From what I read it does good on any bullet, lighter ones better 50-69. Everyone who posted is north of me, worried about the heat and humidity and it's possible effects. WTH, it's only $$ right. This is half the fun, being able to experiment.
