I seem to post a lot of threads with that title. Anyway, I'm going to put away some reloads for SHTF, in addition to some M855 and some Prvi. I figured I would just "repack" my stuff on strippers and bandoleers, stuff in an ammo can, toss in desiccant and call it good. Then I got the bright idea of doing the same, but with each bandoleer in a vacuum bag. Then I thought that over time, this could pull a slight vacuum inside each case, which would, in turn make each cartridge more susceptible to pulling moisture in once unpacked. Probably no great difference, either positive or negative, but that's the sort of shit that keeps me up at night.

Which of my personalities is right?

I would just seal the primers and call it good.

ETA: I wouldn't bother with Vac-sealing.

whatever moisture is sucked out via vacuum sealing would be sucked back in when the vacuum is broken.  It'll be a draw.

I wouldn't bother doing anything you're not already doing. Put your stuff in an ammo can and be ready to bug out.
Nov. 6th the SHTF so i'd think your ammo will still be good in 3 months.

This is why Arfcom needs an FB style "Like" button.

Not that it really matters, but this ammo will be stored at my BOL.

I wouldn't say bad idea, just a lot of unneeded ideas.

A couple of my ammo cans, ammo on stripper clips, pack of desiccant and throw a spoon in every can.

Nothing else needed unless you will be storing your ammo cans under water.
