Has anyone put together a comprehensive list of 300 BLK loads?  I've found a few sites, but their list of bullets and powder combinations is very limited.  I picked up 500 155gr blem poly-tip BT from Midway, but I can't find any loading data for them.  I made up six rounds using 15.5gr H110 and they shot OK and cycled just fine, but felt weak.  I have a Chrony but I've been too lazy to get it out.  I made up six more using 16.5gr H110, but I haven't shot them yet.

Here are two of the sites I found:

No but I'm working on it. I have run about 500 rounds of various sorts and the problem I am having is pretty wide ES and SD. I see other 300 BLK owners are having the same issues. I did get a few that were decent but have to see if I can get them to perform the same way all the time.

Since so many are after the 220g SMK and they are pretty pricey I am looking for alternate bullets specifically the game king and hornady red tips in 100 and 208g weights. I am using hodgdon lil'gun which isn't far from your 110 on the burn charts if I remember right.

Hi-Tech-Ammo has the 147g M2 pulls fairly priced and I am working on working up both a sub and super load so they are good for general use. Right now I have about 1,100 bullets to load/test.

My goal is to get a general round, just for shooting paper & steel, a sub round that has good accuracy and expands well then a super round that does the same. I have Hornady 180g SSTs, Hornady A-Max 208g, the 147g pulls Sierra 180 and 200 lead tips, I think are game kings marked on the box. I had real good luck with one of the Sierra bullets @ 8.6g of lil gun as far as being consistent while some of the other ones were just all over the place velocity wise.

If I could give you one piece if advice, so far it seems to me that a coal of 2.120 seemed to be more consistent than andy other. I think the Sierra with 8.6 lil gun and coal 2.120 has really good ES and SD like less than 20 and compared to some of the numbers I got, that's a miracle. Sorry but can't remember if it was the 180 or the 200g Sierra. I think it was the 200 but not certain.

I am hoping to load some of the 208s and others to test this weekend so I can post my results if you like. I may put them in an excel sheet. As far as your 155s I think the way to go with the 300 BLK is light (110g) or heavy (180-240) because the middle weights play to neither strengths of the cartridge. Light is good to deliver a fast bullet, light for slower subs, middle weights are neither. Just my take. They all deliver a better hammer than a 5.56 can.

What you didn't say is what are you looking to load for? Hunting, cheap super load, plinking? Also what are you running, SBR, suppressed, 16", pistol or carbine gas?

As far as "feeling weak" I'd trust a chronomoter moreso than my subjective impression but like any round, the old adage applies: "start low and work up." No different here. Really though, what config are you running and what is your goal for the load?

I'm running a 16" CMMG barrel with 1:8 and carbine gas.  I probably will not put a suppressor on this one.  I'm looking for an accurate round –– 1 MOA –– that would be good for hunting or targets out to 300 yards or so.  I tried to run some 220gr subs, but the wouldn't cycle reliably, so I'll stick with supersonic rounds for now.  I've also shot some 147gr PMW Range ammo that functions perfectly and is quite accurate, but is $14.00 a box or more.  I have one box of 110gr Hornady 300 Whisper and they shoot OK as well.

The primary reason for getting the 155gr bullets was the price.  I couldn't pass up $19.00/100.  With a bucket full of .223 brass I plan on making a bunch of 300 BLK myself.

ETA:
I have a Chrony, but haven't gotten it out due to HEAT and laziness.  I'd like to get out early one morning this weekend before we get into triple digits again.
