Download the instructions for the Lee press from Lee's website first to see if it'll work for the turret press RCBS Case Lube Kit 17.99 Avoid this stuff, use alcohol based lanolin spray lube Flitz Brass Case Polish 7.6 oz Liquid 9.49 Lyman Turbo 1200 PRO Sifter Case Tumbler 110 Volt 46.49 Lee 4 Hole Turret Press with Auto Index Deluxe Kit Product #: 785993 214.99 And 2 reloading trays of each 9mm 45 acp and 223 I know this is a wall of text but is there anything im missing or wasting my money on? You'll also want a scale, deburring tool. This comes with the kit Do you need shellplates for your turret press? I dunno, read up on Lee's site I recommend a case gage for your 3 calibers, I prefer Dillon's. Only Dillon will sell them. But you can buy a Dillon bullet puller as well, even a scale. (nevermind - scale comes with the kit) |

I used an RCBS Case Lube kit for 30 years, and it's OK, but I have changed recently to spray on lube. I use the 1:12 Lanolin:99% Isopropyl Alcohol homemade lube. It is essentially the same as the Franklin Arsenal spray lube: You will find it much easier to use than a pad, with fewer dented shoulders. | Thanks for the replys. I dont have any reloading manuels at this time. Ive saw the ABCs of reloading one in the sticky and was planning to check that out, just wanted to try and get everything ordered first so i can see what i have as i read. Donno if that is a bad idea or not tho. I will switch out the lubes, and cancle the media and get what u said at petsmart, have one locally. Thanks for all the info and if there is anything else i should add or better equipment that i should swap out. Im trying to get all my basic equipment for under 400 but i dont think that will happen. |

Price your Lee products here fsreloading
You will need the powder riser if you use the safety prime. If you use the 3-die rifle sets you won't need the factory crimp die as it is included. |
|
You will need a Rifle Charging Die for the other hole in the 4 hole press. Like said before the 3 Rifle Die sets come with the factory crimp die. Just not the rifle charging die. The 4 Pistol Die sets come with the charging/Flair die. Also the Lee Dies come with Load Data. So you can use that, to start with.
If your going to stick with Lee Reloading stuff get the "Lee Modern Reloading 2 ED" Loading Manuel because a lot of the info in their will relate to your press. Like the Auto Disk Powder Drop. Lyman Magnum Impact Bullet Puller 18.99 Sure Lee Auto Prime Hand Priming Tool Shellholder #4 (17 Remington, 204 Ruger, 223 Remington) 2.99 Your also going to need the Hand Primer (I prime on the press so I don't use the Hand Priming Tool) Frankford Arsenal Brass Cleaning Media Treated Walnut Hull 5 lb Jug 17.29 Use the normal stuff and add in Polish Lee Factory Crimp Die 223 Remington 11.99 Don't need in the #-Die set already Lee Case Trimmer Cutter with Ball Grip 6.99 Sure but the kit comes with one just not the ball grip. Lee Case Length Gage and Shellholder 223 Remington 4.99 Sure Lee Deluxe 3-Die Set 223 Remington 32.99 Yes Lee 4 Hole, Classic 4 Hole Turret Press Turret 8.99 (extra one) Get 2 extra for your 9mm and 45 so you dont have to change anything but remove the whole holder Frankford Arsenal Electronic Caliper 6" Stainless Steel 22.49 Sure Lee Auto-Disk Powder Measure Riser 7.49 If your going to use Lee Safety Prime Feed Large and Small Primer. If your going to prime off press nope. RCBS Case Lube Kit 17.99 Your choice Flitz Brass Case Polish 7.6 oz Liquid 9.49 Lyman Turbo 1200 PRO Sifter Case Tumbler 110 Volt 46.49 Lee 4 Hole Turret Press with Auto Index Deluxe Kit Product #: 785993 214.99 Nice press this is what I use. And 2 reloading trays of each 9mm 45 acp and 223 I use the old trays from prev shot ammo If your going to loade 9mm and 45 your going to need the 4-die sets for them too. Look in to this: https://fsreloading.com/classic-turret-press-kit-90304.html |
| i believe the lee delux 3 die set has a neck sizing die. I got the lee pace setter 3 die set has full length sizing die seating die and FCD. also the lee chamfer and deburring tool is kinda suck mine is already dull and hard to debur with after only 250 or so rounds. |
