I finally got all of my components and equipment and plan to load my first rounds this weekend. I am using Hornady 9mm .355 115 gr HP XTP®(free with my press) and Hodgdon Titegroup. My Hornady manual doesn't show a load for TG and Hodgdon's site doesnt show load data for the Hornady 9mm .355 115 gr HP XTP®. I have done a google search but I am unable to find any data for this combo. If you could point me towards some resources that I am missing that would be awesome. I don't want to be nicknamed "Stub" by Monday. A guy I work with said to use the data Hodgdon has for Speer 115 gold dots and start low. I jus want to double check that too.
Feel free to laugh and call names I have thick skin and broad shoulders Thanks Jerry |

Feel free to laugh and call names I have thick skin and broad shoulders Thanks Jerry There won't be any name calling. You may get that in GD (General Discussion) not here. This is a technical forum, so we try to help people. You will seldom find load data for the exact components you have. So here's the secret; Use similar data (same bullet weight and type and shape) and begin loading at the start load and work up watching for pressure signs. Start load is the lowest powder charge shown. Reread your manual, the part about working up loads. So your friend was correct, except he left out the part about working up loads. Good luck. |
