| Besides possum hollow what are some good trimmers. I have been looking at WTF. |
| I literally was logging on to start a thread about how much I love the WFT that I just got in the mail today. It is everything I wanted it to be. My original plan had been to save up for a Dillon trimmer, but believe the WFT does the same job just as fast for far less money. I am an extremely happy customer. I also had it only two days after I ordered it. |

I bought the Gracey trimmer head and attached my own power. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/7617102_0688.jpg what is this? how much? i been thinking about a giraurd but $$$$$. i trim with an rcbs one that goes in my cordless drill and i have to do each case by hand , then debur and then chamfer. just that process of trimming makes me not want to reload. |

Besides possum hollow what are some good trimmers. I have been looking at WTF. What is your budget? Trimmers can cost up to $450. I had a giraud for awhile and if you load in bulk the money is better spent elsewhere. IMHO what you posted does not make sense. if you load in bulk, the money is absolutely well worth it. i have 15k pieces of 5.56 brass to process. my time is worth money, and trimming 1500 pieces in an hour with a giraud vs trimming about 120 pieces per hour with other trimmers is just retarded. the giraud is well worth the money, and if you want to, you can sell it pretty quickly used. they never last long when for sale. you wonder why no one sells them? no one wants to get rid of theirs. i dont like the dillon because you still have to debur the cases. you dont have to do anything extra with the giraud. |

It absolutely does make sense. I can process 2000 rounds an hour on my 650. The case does NOT need to be chamfered. Like I said, if you load in bulk like I do, the giraud is just too slow. I never have to touch the case unless you count dumping a bucket of brass into the casefeeder. |

The cutter head sure went up since I bought mine $200 Gracey |

Quoted: RCBS makes a 3 way cutter to replace the one that came with the trimmer. About $45. Trims, chamfers, and deburs all at once. Hense 3 way. 3 way cutter on the block of wood in this pic. |

I use a Wilson.
I have a Giraud on my mind... But my Wilson has worked well for me. And for under $100... It fits your budget... But once you start to process a few hundred cases, you will understand why the power-trimmers are much-loved by our fellow arfcommers... I have a box ~500 .556 cases that will need processed, and my arm hurts just thinking about it... |
