is it worth it to reload ?how many times can i reuse the brass? how much am i looking at for the equipment?

yes. i find it is worth it.
72$ for FMJ per 1K
25$ for primers per 1K
10$ for powder
brass is view as free as it is somewhat plentiful. add 20$ if you must buy it. however divide by 3-4 as you can reuse it this much.. so say 5$

112$ for 1K, loaded to my spec, no under powered WWB that is filthy...
i can pound out 1K on my 650 in just under 2 hours.

You will probably lose the brass before you wear it out.

The cheapest kit I've found:

You can go even cheaper with a lee classic loader- everything you need to load one caliber for about 25 dollars but it is strictly a one piece at a time, labor intensive process.

Where are you finding FMJ for $72?Lowest I've found was around $78/k for 2k

Yes, it is worth it to reload....if you enjoy reloading and have the time.  I find it

cheaper to reload 124gr JHP vs store bought 115g FMJ that is not as accurate.

Depending on your budget you can get right into a progressive just for 9mm,

then start loading others down the road.  As for equipment, that all depends on

the type of press you decide to get.

I have been reloading the same brass from 4years ago, yes I have lost some but I have also managed to find a lot, I have always used PD 124's with 4.3g of TG and have never had issues

One of the good things about reloading 9 is that you can shoot something very similar to what you carry.

+1 on this. Definitely my favorite part. I love being able to tweak my rounds.

There is a decent price savings, but I don't reload to save money. I reload for performance and quantity.

Like others have said, it's worth it if you wanna take the time to do it.

If you end up with a single stage kit trying to reload for large quantities of 9mm you will want to hang yourself.  NOT fun, takes a long time to load 1k of 9mm on a single stage.  Buy a progressive and end up at 300 rounds per hour being made taking your time and checking constantly.

You dont end up saving money, you end up shooting more.  Instead of bringing 300 rounds to the range you end up bringing 600 for about the same price.

9mm 115gr FMJ ; $74
HP38 powder:      $10
Tula primers         $17
used brass:           $0
total::                    $101 per K

You can end up using lead for about $20 cheaper if you look around.

Buy in bulk to save on shipping.

Precision Delta is 72.00 per K of 115gr shipped if you order 10K

I'm still reloading 9mm brass that I bought 45 years ago, with moderate loads you will lose more pistol brass than goes bad.

Absolutely worth it to reload 9mm! I've been buying 115 gn RN and 124 JHP's from Precision Delta. The others have already given you some pricing to show what it could be costing to reload vs. store bought.

Yes.

how many times can i reuse the brass?

Until you lose it.

how much am i looking at for the equipment?

Depends on how fast you want to load.

Lee turret is a good start for like $250 for everything you need minus components.

Not to mention that for subsonic 147gr loads you either pay premium or handload for a healthy discount....

Subsonic 147gr + suppressor = pellet gun quiet
