Scored a keg of this. It has some load data on the label, but I was hoping somebody had more info for it.

Pics of score?

Did you get an 8lb jug or a 55lb keg?

Sorry, I didn't know you could get 55lb kegs. It's only an 8lb keg?

I use it in .223 and .308. I have a .308 load with a Speer 125 that is very accurate.
It is very fast burning, so work up loads carefully.

What cartridge are you loading?  AA has plenty of data here for the 223.

Take away my internets, I have no excuse for not looking in the AA book.
Mostly going to load .223 with it, I'll start with some 55gr fmj fodder for the carbine and probably work up some loads for the 20"heavy.

You may want to consider trading it with a 6.8 junkie.

AA2200 is the hot powder for 6.8 shooters, and AA2230 seems to work better in .223 and .308.

Just a thought

Is there a difference between Data 2200 and Accurate Arms 2200?

Data 2200 was the cat's meow about 10 years ago. I grabbed 8# of it when it was on sale for cheap when a powder supplier was liquidating his stock. They were no longer making it, so guys were grabbing the Data 2200 bottles as fast as they could. I wish that I had bought more. I think my 8# was around $60.00.

I'm glad to see that it has been reintroduced. However, there is a better selection of powders todays than there was a decade ago, so I probably won't pick any up more for my .223.

The old stuff was great.  I paid in the $60's for it at the time.  It's long gone now  The new 2200 is at the same price as the rest of the AA's powder
