Well I put all the names in a hat and Mike_P came out the winner! Thanks to everyone that participated it's always interesting to see how diverse the group is.
I wanted to do a small giveaway sooner in the month but thanks to 45-Seventy's 'Most Depressing Contest of 2012'  I waited till his was over to do mine.
Up for grabs is a pair of reloading blocks, each holds 50 rounds so you'll have a total of 100 rounds. You can choose any caliber up to and including .300 Win Mag. **Rules** I'm doing something a little different so hopefully this contest will be more intresting then 2 pages of people saying "in" .There's 4 ways to enter. Each way will give you 1 slip of paper in the hat. So if you qualify all 4 ways you get 4 chances to win. If you don't have way 2,3, or 4 don't worry just say your 'in' and it's fine. 1. Say "in" "me" "pick me" or any varation of the same idea. 2. Post a pic of a patch from any Military Unit you served in. Squids and Coasties I don't know how yours work so anything with a ship you served on I think it how it'll work
2. Post a pic of your hot rod. Any year, make, model counts as long as it's American powered and pre-1986 (replicas are fine as long as they represent a pre-86 car). 3. Post a pic of your human powered watercraft. Canoe, Kayak, SUP Board, and Surfboard all count. The contest ends Sunday the 29th at 2000. At that time I'll toss all the names in a hat and pick one. Bonus points if anyone has a dragon patch, and if possible sneak in your screenname, it's harder to do with the car/boat pictures so it's not manditory. Honor system is in place so don't cheat! @Blacksheep, I meant militarty patches, I'll edit the OP to clarify. I was kinda making it a "match my hobbies" game. |

Is that a skin-on-frame canoe? It sorta looks like theres ribs along the side but it could be a trick of the light. |

Some of the scouts built it back in (I think) the 60's. It had been in storage for probably 15 years, so as Asst. SM I got to test it out and make sure it didn't sink before we let the boys use it. It leaks a little, but is still solid and we're going to reseal it this spring so we can use it this summer. |
