So I've got a question about setting up the sizing die (223). I had the die set up and sizing cases correctly, per my case gauge, but the lever was camming over and stopping on the stop built into the link bars. This was causing my case feeder to shake enough that I'm occasionally getting the upside down case. So I tried screwing in my resizing die a bit more and I can get the machine to lock up before camming over. The brass is coming out right at the small end of sized correctly. Maybe even a thousandth over sized.

So which way is the better way to set up the machine?

My priority would be to have the sizing die set correctly per your second sentence.

sounds like your case feeder is feeding cases while the handle is at the bottom stroke.  You can play with the high and low case feed settings, see which works best, or wait until the case is fed all the way before finishing the stroke, or sometimes I just turn the case feeder on until the case feed tube is full, then turn the case feed off and reload.  When almost out of brass I turn the case feeder on again for 10 seconds and have it refill the case feed tube

I'm with Assaultrifler on this.  The second option is the correct option.

One thing I did was shorten the case feeder stand and tube.  I did this so the case feeder wasn't as high and so there is potentially less vibration of the case feeder.
