I know this has been said about a thousand times but I love the way Dillon does business.

I have a couple of old Dillon Square deal presses (like pretty much 25 years!) and I snapped a little spring on one a couple of months back and have just been swapping it back and forth
between machines.

Finally I dug out my goodie bag with spare Dillon parts and found I had the replacement part(actually 3) but they were quite a bit longer than the original spring.

I gave Dillon a call and had to wait a total of about 60seconds and the guy who answered knew that the early presses took a different spring. He also knew that they had sent me three
of the newer springs several years ago!. He checked my address and said the parts would be going out to me right away!

Man do I love me some blue! I know it is all about marketing and stuff, keeping the old customers happy by sending them silly little parts to keep them coming back but I
like it and it works,I just don't buy presses unless they are blue. It is not just little stuff either, years back I was having trouble with the priming system and although the person I
talked to at the time had it worked out that the demon was dirt, lack of lube and a weak spring he ended up by saying "You know I believe the cleaning and lube along with the new spring
will solve all your problems but I don't want any doubt so I am going to ship you a whole priming system for that press. The priming system for the square deal is about 1/3 of the whole unit so it was no small deal.

Buy Dillon with confidence!  (and I am a grumpy old man!)

Sir, I've been a Dillon supporter since the early eighties.  I've bought a number of their products over the years from my first 450 press (since upgraded to a 550), an XL 650 press, super swager, trimmer, tumbler, etc, etc.  I've always had similar experience with their customer support and parts warranty.  Having said that I realized long ago that other makers have good equipment too!  I still use my first Rockchucker press, I have dies from all manner of makers, a Giraud trimmer, PACT scales and powder dispenser, Redding scales and powder measure, etc.  I could go on but you get the idea, I'm not fixated on their products but I make it a point to buy one of their calendars every year so they won't drop me from their mailing list if I haven't bought something from them for a while.  HTH, 7zero1.

I am getting the Blue Press very sporadic, I think someone in the PO is getting ready to load their own.

I have a 550 bought in the '80s.  I haven't used it much lately since I have the 650.  I set up the 550 for small pistol primers since it is a pain to change the primer setup on the 650.  I decided to have Dillon look it over (easy for me since they are about 25 minutes away).  I picked it up today.  They had replaced the lower linkage, taken the slop out of the shell plate detent, and given me a new powder measure.  That is what i noticed, there may have been other stuff done.  NO CHARGE.

They are a real pleasure to deal with.

Same here.  Just got one the other day after not receiving one for 5 or 6 months... go figure.
