I've decided to finally start loading for my 7mm-08 rifles, so I am looking for any recommendations before I start working up a load. I am using Nosler 140 and 150gr Ballistic Tips, and I have the following powders to use: Varget, H335, H414, IMR 4064, IMR 4350, H450, TAC, BL(C)-2, IMR 4895, H4895, and Norma Rifle Powder.
Any suggestions on a certain powder that has produced the best results in your rifle(s)? |

I don't load this cartridge, but Nosler 6 lists IMR-4350 and H-335 as accurate powders with a max load with 140 gr BT. Other powders like Varget, H-414, and IMR-4895 are accurate with their starting load. Big game was listed as the most accurate powder tested, but not on your list. With the 150 gr BT, IMR-4895 is the only powder on your list that is accurate in the max load. Again Varget is listed accurate with the starting load. H-380 was listed as the most accurate powder tested, but not on your list. |
