| Im in need of a place/ way to store my reloading equipment. I used to have my own man cave but now ive got another baby boy on the way. My wife has somewhat okay'd me with it going into the master bedroom but i dont want it there all ugly and strung out. Any body have ideas on how to conceal it? Im pretty much out of space in the house, next option is to build a shop behind the house but that wont happen for a while |

Go to the epic 26 page Reloading Bench thread for ideas.
This thread has them all, reloading benches large and small. |

I built a "fits in the closet" sized bench out of 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood with some strategic 2x4 reinforcement. It's stable enough to support the press etc, and is even more stable if you store bullets, etc on the lower shelves. If you add a retractable caster system to it, it also becomes portable.
So start with the available space and develop the design from there. |

I would love to setup something in our medic...chief would have a shit fit if I did Haa! I work at a reletively slow outpost station , 2-3 calls a day unless it's brushfire season. My Fireman and Medic and I all shoot, reload and own ARs. We have often comtemplated a disguised reloading trailer to put in the parking lot.(With AC!) Spend a lot of time surfing arfcom and watching TV that could be better spent making boolits....
Our District once walked in the station unannounced while we were gathered around an AR-15 trying to figure out a function issue....didn't say a word, just
Florida makes it a third degree felony for a superviser to ASK if you have a gun in your parked vehicle, I wonder if that extends to trailers!? |

I would love to setup something in our medic...chief would have a shit fit if I did small gym bag, hand press, hand primer tool zip trim on a piece of 1x2 the small prep tools (neck chamfer, trimmer, calipers etc) digital scale and or/lee perfect powder measure, and you are GTG. We have loaded a bunch with no issue. small enough to be discreet and quick enought to break down when we get a job (or supervisor comes) Our supervisor was cool with it as long as we didn't bring the firearms to boot. |
