.223 case ID > Reloading

Does anyone know where I can find a webiste with picture to help me ID the range pick ups I have? Thank you for your time

There aren't that many common ones:

FC = Federal
R-P = Remington
LC = Lake City (military surplus/rejects?)
PPU = Prvi Partisan

The one for Winchester escapes me, WW I think. There are also some foreign surplus head stamps out there that I can't think of too, but I'm sure someone will be along to remind me.

I have over heard something about people do not like reloading FC or LC, why is that?

LC and other military brass have crimped primers that must be removed to seat a new primer, so that's an extra step in the process. Not really a big deal, just swage it out with a handtool.

There are no other problems other than that. I was already looking into the dillon 600 for the swaging

the AFTE website is a good resource. The headstamp gallery is open to the public. It might help.

So what do you do if the cases you have aren't on their list...?

for something like the cases you have we have a program called Cart Win Pro. Best database money can buy for identification of cartridges and cartridge cases. I will look the ones up you have posted if I get a few extra minutes friday. I can see the PMJ 10 headstamp, can you post a better pic of the last headstamp.
