Does anyone make a lock ring to replace the nut on the top of Dillon Trim Die? I would like to be able to move the motor from die to die with out losing settings. If no one makes one, is there a market for one?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I haven't gotten around to it, but I was planning to get another nut and jam-nutting it to the original nut so I kept the setting.

I have found Dillon to be fair beyond my wildest expectations. They have given me many parts over the years that I rightfully should have been charged for. I usually wind up buying a T-shirt or a hat whenever I call about a broken press part because I feel guilty about their generosity.

Well, I'm new to Dillon and they haven't sent me anything for free.  Quite the opposite.  I have paid through my teeth for everything.  I think a 423% cost increase to buy something from them isn't quite kosher.
Dillon $4.99
3 seconds with Google $1.18

But.....I'm not asking about an OEM nut.  I want a split locking collar.  It's looking like I will simply make one, and then make more to......edited Read the COC, Specific to sales #2. dryflash3

Can you make it cheaper than you can buy it? Why not just use a double nut?

I put a Lee lock ring on the die underneath the toolhead. Same threads and holds it in place. Doesn't interfere with loading/trimming operations at all.
