Woke up kind of early so decided to crank out some shotshells for skeet.  So I put my makeshift funnel on the powder bottle and dumped some Red Dot into it, too much Red Dot as a matter of fact. Had a big 8lb jug of powder, when it was almost full I gave it one more pour, then a whole bunch came out!  No way I could remove the funnel without spilling powder everywhere

Decided my best course of action, just leave it there and crank out some shells.  About 20 shells later the powder level dropped and I was able to remove the funnel with no spilt powder  The funnel is the top of a 2 liter Pepsi bottle which is threaded, the threads screw in perfectly into the hole on the top of the powder bottle, keeping the funnel secure.

Your funnel looks better than mine. I rolled up a cinnamon toast crunch box and taped it in a funnel shape.

I used your 2 liter bottle trick to measure out how many cases to put in my wet tumbler. Good tip.

You use the top, I use the bottom. Team work.

Yet another reloading use for 2 liter pepsi bottles:  they'll hold 25 lbs of shot easily as well.  They're clear so you know how much shot you have left, organize nicely, termite proof,  and easy to pour shot out of.  Two years ago I had a termite infestation and they actually ate the cloth from some bags of shot I had in the garage, making a big ol' mess!

You drink a lot more pop than me, but put the bottles to a good use.

I guess my pretzel kegs aren't unusual after all.  We all can find a use for large containers that we get for some other reason.  I use an old kitty litter plastic bucket for my scrap brass.  I don't drink soda at all so I had to fish one of those bottles out of the neighbor's recycling bin to make the powder funnel a few years ago.  I use an Akro bin to meter out how many cases I tumble at a time.
