Check here:  http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

Don't think it'll help you much, yet.

Hornady recommends:  (Assuming 200 gr HP-XTP model # 45140)

COL: 1.230

starting load 5.0g @ 800 fps

Max load: 5.6g @ 900 fps

I'm curious what gun you will be shooting these with. I've used TG with the XTP in 230g, worked very well in my Kimber UCII.

Now that I'm home and near my manuals,

Hornady 7, page 899, 45 ACP, 200 gr XTP, Tite Group:

Start, 4.8 grs for 800 fps

Max, 5.9 for 950 fps

Listed OAL is 1.230

Test gun, 1911

Good luck, work up carefully.

Nice choice for a weapon, I have 2 myself, one in .45 and bought one in .9mm about 2 months ago. Like the Kimber I mentioned above, I've put at least 1K rounds of XTPs through the .45 XD with no problems.

I use 5.4gr. with a 185gr. bullet, FWIW.

well it looks like the springfield likes 5.1 grains of tite group with the 200 grain xtp. 5.1 gave me the best group no feed problems at all and a big thank you to all
