To add to other posts I have been reading about people scavenging brass, my son and I did real well over the weekend. Now I have a lot to sort and process, should keep me busy for a few nights anyway.

I have about 75 or 100 rounds of brass stamped C J 83. Looking at some links this looks to be possibly "Norinco". Anyone have any issues or luck reloading this?

Caliber?

I've found some 9mm marked similar (CJ 94, IIRC), that reloaded fine.

CJ is all chinese.Norinco/China Sports; it varys wildlly in quality some it it was too soft to reoald and the weight variation of some lots was huge. Some was almost match grade try it.

I find those periodically.  I just dump them into the recycle bucket.  Unless I find a big bunch of the same flavor of once fired brass, I can the oddball foreign stuff.

Norinco is soft.  Primer pockets get loose and sometimes primers fall out. Scrap it and get $2/lb or so for it
