So I tumbled my first ever batch of 9mm brass and added a scoop of this flitz metal polish which says it's ok for use on brass and firearms . I mixed it with dry corn Von and tumbled for about 2 1/2 hours. The brass came out super clean but it feels like there might be some residue on them. Did I just ruin the brass by using the flitz?

Brass should come out clean, not sticky when polished.  You could tumble the brass again in a mixture of clean corn cob media and a bit of mineral spirits

Interesting, Flitz makes polish specially for tumbling brass

Did you add the polish at the same time as the brass?

When I add Iosso case polish to my media, I let the tumbler run for

15 or 20 mins (with no brass) to let the polish "distribute itself" into the media.

The only Dillon product I use (so far) is their brass polish for tumblers.  I dump my brass in my 20/40 corncob, pour a capful on top and turn it on.  Never noticed anything but clean brass...no globs inside, not gunk outside.  I'm wondering if you just used too much polish....it doesn't take much.

That flitz is like a goo, i put a spoonful in and let it run for about 30 min before I added brass. Now retumbling in fresh corn. There were no globs on the inside of cases just felt like a waxy buildup on cases. So maybe I put in too much? I won't use it again, turned the old media black! But the cases look great!

The media is black because the "dirt" had to go somewhere. Use a dryer sheet or anything to pick up the dust and/or dirt in your media?

The polish may have something in it that feels slick when you handle the cases. A wax or silicone, maybe the only way to find out is looking at the MSDS. When I use NuFinish car polish in my tumbler, the cases come out feeling slick, and are usually not so slick after handling and loading. It hasn't seemed to have been a problem when I shoot them.
