I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this stuff yet?

Looking at Molon's ammo review it performs amazingly with lighter bullets but the factor heavier stuff didnt seem to fair as well.

I am really excited about this powder because it seems like it would be very easy to match 5.56 velocities to make M855 and M193 copies, while having good performance with match projectiles.

Not available yet.  Hodgdon's website says mid January, so I'm guessing it'll be released at SHOT.

ETA:  I'm going to have to give it a try in my 6BRX and .243.

But do they have it listed as available, or available to back order.  Midway is infamous for putting stuff up well before it's even been released.

That's strange.  Hodgdon's site says their not releasing it until the middle of this month.  Wonder how long it'll take to make it up here.

I'm curious for .223 load data.  Not so much for my AR as my 26" 700.  A little flatter for shooting coyotes would be nice.  Right now Hodgdon only shows data for .22-250, .243, 6mm Rem, 243wssm, 25wssm,  300rcm, and 300wsm.  None of which I load for.

I'll buy a pound to try out when it shows up local.  Grafs has had it since mid-December.

There are numerous different blends of the powder with only one being released at this point, and it is NOT FOR 223!  It is for the cartridges that there is data listed on Hodgdon Web Site and Hornady 8th ED.  People are thinking way too much!  And, Hornady has not realy clarified the detail that there numerous blends ergo not available to reloader.  Best cool jets and go back to using the standards in 223.

Not planning on using it in .223.  Whenever it makes its way up to Alaska, I'll give it a try in .243 AI and 6 BRX.  Should do rather well in both of those.

Has everyone got to read this before people start saying the loads are to "hot" or their having FTE problems?

Superformance in Gas Guns

I've got 300 rounds of the 53gr factory Superformance loads but have yet to get to the range with them, that little 53gr bullet has a better BC than a 60gr V-max and is sure to fly straight at 3465 FPS.
