Does anybody know the distance a XL650 with a case feeder has to be mounted away from a wall so there is proper clearance for everything?

Thanks in advance!

My casefeeder extends from the base

left side is 3", right side 5" and 7" in the rear.

Thanks Chas.  I was looking for the measurement from the front of the bench to the rear of the furthermost most point of the 650 with the case feeder.  I was just coming back to edit my post, because I realized I didn't specify which measurement.

ok, plus 4.5" for the base.

That puts us at 11.5" total needed front to rear.

If your using a stong mount, I got it at 14 1/2" from the front of the mount to the back of the CF. Which was 2" to deep for my old bench top. I had tto made a new one for my upgrade!

Thanks for the heads up Trojan.  However, I'm planning on just mounting it to my bench, as I sit when I'm reloading.

A while back Dillon changed the 650 cartridge case feeder support tube. The newer 650 has the case feeder front (area where the discharge chute is located) parallel to the front of the press.  On the older 650's the case feeder is rotated about 30 degrees CCW, viewed from above. I have one of each if you need measurements.

Ronnie, that would help.  I'm going to be purchasing a older 650 that one of my friends bought back in the early to mid 90s and he hardly used it.  It's been sitting in a box for years!
