I have been loading 223 and here is what im using
25gn of win 748 powder 55gn bullets CCI magnam 450 small rifle primers Just curios as some people say you should use less powder with the magnam primers. Thanks FREE |

| Just fired off some of the exact load a couple days ago with no problems. It's a somewhat light load to me. Not saying it's too light, just "lighter" than some of my other loads. It shoots pretty good out of my 20" 1x8. Easy on the rifle and the brass. It was pretty cold and I was in a rush, it shot a 1.6" group with irons. I also shot some awhile back with regular WSR primers and liked it a tad better than the mag primers. All of my 55 gr loads are plinkin' ammo except some that I am working on now for close to mid-range yote shooting. |
