I got some trailboss and 180 round noses' to make some 308 win subsonic loads. I'm not new to reloading but I'll never say I know it all either. Are there any tips to reloading sub's beside working down instead of up?

Been there already. Wanting to know the safe starting load. Is there such a thing. How much is to much or to little with TB? I'll be using a remington 5R if it matters.

Well if you ask the question up front you might get the answer.

You can go all the way to max if you want but if I were you, I would start with 12-13 grains and work down in .5 increments.

Chances are you will end up with a load listed in the other thread.

I think my 5R liked 10.5-11 grains but I have to check my notes.

My 5r likes 10.5-10.7 Gr of Trailboss  YMMV

I started at 12.5 Gr and worked my way down.  Be sure and Chronograph your loads when you get to 1000 fps I would try and go for consistancy.
PS  If you are planning on using these loads with a suppressor be sure to test without it and watch for keyholes.
