Well these 9 mm 124 grainers are looking good at 2000 bullets for 150 bucks shipped but i cannot find any solid info on the plating or possible reload data. Can anyone help me out? I have looked around but maybe i missed a past thread about them. I currently reload berrys 9mm and was told by them not to go by the even the lowest book loads because they use a very thin plate and was able to get some solid load info from one or the senior reloaders there. Very helpful and great range loads. I would like to pick up these armscors if i can push a hotter load without break-up.

Thanks in advance.  J.d

The Lee manual has plated specific data... check there.  I generally run low end jacketed data for my plated rounds and do fine.  The Lee manual has very similar data for jacketed and plated.

I have no experience with the ARMSCOR 9mm, but I know their 5.56 is junk.

Same here, I didn't post an answer hoping someone with experience with these bullets would jump in.

I do know that Zero brand 9mm JHP's (not plated) were about $80 per 1K last time I ordered from Powder Valley. (they are in the links)

Good luck

The reason you have to run plated bulets slower is because the plating is very thin and yuo can get lead build up, right?

Are you talking about the deal on these bullets from SurplusAmmo.com?  Those are FULL METAL JACKETED bullets, not plated bullets.

Jacketed bullets are loaded as jacketed bullets-there's no special loading process or different data needed with these bullets.

Yes those are the ones i was referring to. I was hopin that someone had some info on the loads they were capable of. And specifically if they are decent for reloading.

No loads specific for those particular bullets, but you can start with ANY 124gr jacketed bullet starting load.  Again, they aren't plated, so there are no special considerations for loading them.

Let us know how they look, especially accuracy wise.  I've got my eye on some too.
