This is impossible I was told by several people on this board that ballistics of artillery is totally different than small arms ballistics.

I even had the examples I used deleted by a moderator and told it wasn't germane to the topic.

You may have missed science and engineering discussions in GD.  60% of that crowd believes a bullet shot from a bore climbs upon leaving the gun!

The physics are the same.  The differences are a matter of degree.

Interesting. .... . There's an issue of national security having trajectory formula used by United States Military Snipers to calculate positioning of holes cut in window glass. Military channel did a deal about it and privately I've been assured it's true without any details to trajectory or mathematics involved.
