| Talk to me about this thing. I'd like to pick one up, it sounds like a good addition to the many reloading tools I have already. I've heard that you cannot full length size with it. True/false? Do they accept normal size dies? |

Do they accept normal size dies? I love mine. It's a great way to prep cases while watching TV or hanging out on the back porch. Yes it will take regular size dies. You can full length size with it, but larger cases need more arm strength. It will never replace my bench units, but it's a great supplementary tool. |

I have had one for over 10 years and used it more than any other press. Since getting a Hornady Progressive I have started doing my pistol rounds there but continue to do my rifle rounds with the hand press. As far as full length resizing normally it does not have a problem, but two weekends ago I broke my second handle on the press. Lee replaced them both times but it certainly makes you wonder if the casted handles should be something a little more sturdy or perhaps back off on the full length sizing (I use Lee case lube and it helps but apparently does not prevent this). I hope this helps a little. |

They're great. I mostly use mine for decapping with a universal die, but I've sized and loaded a bunch of ammo with mine, too. A little dab of Imperial and every case I've tried up to .45-70 length slides right through. The toughest case is .30 Carbine.
Use dies with standard 7/8-14 threads. |

I put a Lee Universal Decapper in, hand to my neice, put a box of .223 cases in front of her, and she goes to town. I don't have any particular reason for decapping separately but it gives her something to do and teachers her a little facet about reloading.
