need a good starting load for a 7mm. i will be using hosler 150 bass tip, in a rem 700 sendero. thanks ahead for all info.

You did not specify....7mm-08 or 7mm x 57 or 7mm Rem Mag.?

Both can shoot the 150 gn.

The Rem Mag would probably be a slobber knocker load:

Start at 59.5 gn IMR 4350, work up toward 63 max. This will get about 3200 FPS muzzle vel. out of 24" bbl.

I have an old 700 adl in 7 mag.
The only powder I ever use is IMR 4350
One of my best loads was w/ 150gr speer & IMR It would shoot 3/4" groups at 100 yards
Sorry I can't remember the charge right off hand. I still have it though.

Start low, and work your way up untill you find your guns sweet spot.

I'm more curious about these bass tip bullets by hosler.

Why the heck do you want to shoot the little fish? They're way more fun with a rod and reel!

yeah should have read my post before i submitted. 150 ballistic tip and 150 soft point. had a friend give me about 200 or so of each. gun has been in the safe for awhile. thinking its time to get it out and play.
