I recently purchased a Little Dandy powder measure. The hopper doesn't appear to be attached to the rest of the measure in any way and is quite loose. Is it supposed to just sit on the top. If I were to pick it up by the hopper I would end up with a lot of powder on the ground.

Do I have a defective part?

I have two and the tubes never have come off.  Is it a press fit like the Uniflow?  Try pushing the hopper tube into the base while twisting slightly.
