| wow, seen a video of one running does anybody no what they cost, the reloading machine that is |

Quoted:
I believe the one on ebay had been on there a while and was around 7500. Found the thread––didn't sell, but was only $6100. |
| Used they go for as little as 5K and new they can hit 25K. Overkill for most shooters unless you shoot 50-150K of one round per year or load commercially. You basically buy one and set it up for one round and leave it. Got a few of them dedicated to specific loads and it makes producing ammo very easy and very fast. |

Quoted: How are they in terms of consistency? The camdex machines I see run every day are ok in terms of consistency. Good enough for blasting ammo. They need to be maintained and cleaned out from time to time. If you let PM's slip they will start hiccuping, blowing the odd primer etc. For a home reloading they are a bit much. I'd rather have a 1050 with a automatic bullet feeder for home use. Quoted: A motorized 1050 blue-press is almost as impressive and a lot more flexible. When they run right. I load ammo for a living on a 1050. On a good day I can crank out eight to ten thousand rounds. The motorized system is slower than a human powered 1050. They need constant montoring and will turn out crap at the drop of a hat. I wouldn't use that system under any circumstances. |
