I have a 5 gallon bucket that I need to sort. Are there any cheap sorting tools to separate 45acp / 38 / 308 / 7.62 / etc? |

coolant case with tops cut off of bottles,,,, sit on family room and sort. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/capttoyota/brasssorting.jpg Good idea on the coolant jugs/cases! I'll have to remember that when I get to sorting. |

I'll have to remember that when I get to sorting. Should have mentioned: The 12 pack is ATF bottles for sorting 9x19 by headstamp, then onto the larger container of matching headstamp. I now have 3 coolant cases with jugs for sorting.. gots range pick-ups all over that need sort. |

Bread Pans, The kind you get at garage sales for 25 cents. They are easily stacked and stored when empty, when full you can easily bring them to the reloading bench. The brass in the bread pan is about the right amount that goes into my tumbler. In fact, that's how I judge how much brass to put in my tumblers. One bread pan each. You can get a good idea how many cases you have by counting the brass in one bread pan and than filling the others to about the same level. You'll be surprised at just how much you can use bread pans for during your reloading process.
When I go to the range, I take bread pans with me and put the brass in it. I don't have to sort when I get home that way. |
