can i shot the bullet in the link below in my 30-30 without blowing my gun and myself up. I'm trying to figure out which free bullets to get with my hornady reload kit, and .308 is what i hunt with(30.06/30-30) and get more money out of my free then ordering 224's

Those bullets will work fine in the 06,If your 30-30 is a bolt gun or single shot you can use that bullet also,if it's a lever gun you have to use either a round nose,flat point or flex tip bullet. Pointed bullets in a 30-30 lever gun are bad news,they can set the primer off in the next round ahead of it in a tubular magazine under recoil and even cause a chair reaction and set all the rounds off at once.

With a 30-30, you must use RN round nose or FN flat nose. Bullet in link is good for 30-06, it's called a Spire point. Hint, the hot link button is second from the right on the Insert Tags line. Use this Hornady bullet in 30-30. eta, welcome aboard. |
