I am not having alot of luck with 308 loads accuracy wise, I can't out do FGGM.
I want to list what I have here for components and have you guys help pick out a combo.
Once fired BHA match brass, with the primer pockets uniformed.  Or I have some LC.
SMK-in 155gr, 168gr, 175gr
FGMM primers, rem 9 1/2, or CCI BR-2
N140
Varget
H4895
RE15
I would appriciate any suggestions, I have about worn out my Ar10T searching for a good load, now I just rebarreled to a Noveske so i get to start over, so I am looking to shorten up the process a little.
I will work my way up etc. etc.   I am just hoping for some experience with "this should get it in the ballpark"   TIA  ––  Dan.

In my LR308 24" I get great groups with 168 SMK or NoslerCC with 40.0 gr H4895  BR2 or WLR.   In my 18" and 24" great groups with 41.0 IMR4064 or 40.0 Accurate2495  with 168 gr.  all the above in LC brass or the newer 08-09 FC.  These are pretty mild loads but accurate at 100yd.

Winchester case
42.0 gr IMR4064
F210M primer
175 SMK seated at least 0.010" off the lands

If this does not shoot well for you, something is wrong with your rifle.

What velocity are you getting from the Varget out of the 5R?

How many rounds were through the AR10T barrel?

I consider these to be maximum out of a semi-auto and are virtually identical to what I use in Lake City brass in my M1-A. He's probably getting just under 2550 fps from his 24" barrel. I get just under 2500 fps from my 22" barrel. Good accuracy, load four times then chuck the brass.

I average 2550 FPS with my crony. That's also what I use on my ballistic charts and it's dead on.

I exaggerated, there was not that many through it, but I could not get it to work very well.

Thanks for the replies so far, it sounds like I may have the wrong powder choices.

I shot a .329 5 shot group last week at 100y using this load in my Rem 700 5R:

175gr SMK
42.3 IMR 4064
Federal 210
Nosler Brass trimmed to 2.005 (.332 neck bushing)
3.216 on the ogive using the stoney point guage (this is ~2.810 OAL)
Averaged 2695fps

After much dorking around with different bullets, different weights, and differents powders and charges of powder I settled on one powder and one bullet and worked it!

I went for 168AMAX because it seemed to be working a hair better than the Lapuas and SMKs.  I settled on Varget because I had some and it seems to work well for everyone.  I looked in the reloading manual I have and it showed the most accurate load for 168 grain AMAX was at XXXXfps.  I then referenced that speed with Varget and tested.

I came up with 43.2 of Varget with 168AMAX  at 2.850" out of my 308VS in an A4 stock.  I then threw out all variables and concentrated on technique and I am finally a consistent  half inch or less shooter.

I think my problems during load development were that I was trying to test all of my combos and did not have the patience to thoroughly test the tons of combos I had.  For example there were many tests that consisted of 5 shots, eval group and then go to the next.  If I sucked that day I would not go back and investigate the load because the group was too big.
