I am thinking about starting to reload my own ammunition, but I could use some help on where to begin. I know I have a lot of research to do, but I could use a push in the right direction. Links to information and equipment would be greatly appreciated. I was on Midway's site looking around, but I am not sure about which equipment would be considered good quality or necessary. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

What calibers?
What volume of ammo do you want to load? Lee is a great way to enter the field cheap.I've used a Lee turret since the 80's for small batches of stuff and resizing .223 brass before I load it. A single stage press is handy to have around and a great place to start. I love my Dillon rl450(discontinued) The 550 is a great piece of equipment, but I don't think it's fit to start on. There is a lot going on with each stroke and you can get in trouble fast. |
