Hey Guys,
If anyone has old manuals (IMR, Hercules, Hodgdon) can you scan and email a copy of some data to me.
I have been searching online for print copies. I have access (obviously) to the new data of the various website.
Looking to load some 55gr LC - M193 projectiles with some "antique" powder as it was so elequently put

It's still good clean viable powder
Any help will do, Thanks

You'll be sorry you asked,
Looking for .223 data 55gr FMJ projectile M193 (and I know a few are good for 30.06 and .308 IIRC I'm not there yet.)
Not looking for 5.56 pressures, just accuracy. The challange is new powder load data vs. old powder load data (Hercules 2400 vs. Aliant 2400) I know start 10% below but below what???

I have loaded some old Herc. 2400 for 22 hornet.  2400 is 2400 Herc or Alliant.

I have also used RL11 in 22-250, look at the load data for RL10x

The Alliant website has some recipes for RL7, take a look at a Powder burn rate chart.

Here is a IMR Handloaders Guide no longer produced. Note that they say reduce 10% and work up. They have a rifle, pistol, and shotgun section that can be downloaded individually or you can download them all. PDF format that you can print out yourself. From the 1990's I think:

Lyman 45th – 55 Gr Jacketed:

IMR 4064 – 23.0 to 26.0

Rx 11 – 22.0 to 24.5

They also list Cast Bullet loads with Unique, 2400 & IMR 4227 but these are all down in the 1900 to 2200 fps range and only one will cycle the action…
