I posting this here because I think the reloaders know more about ammo.
I was reading an article on the new .264 Les Bear round introduced at SHOT. Does anyone know if this is the exact same as the 6.5 Grendel? It looks like a 7.62 or .220 Russian necked to 6.5, but I can't find a definitive answer. |

I also wonder if it has to do with getting SAMMI recognition. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand you have to be a member for standard specs under SAMMI, and the 6.5 grendel is not, but Les Bear has Hornady making his .264LBC, which would make them eligible. I have no idea if that's correct. |
