Anyone have any experience with Armscor bullets? I have a chance to buy a few thousand .223 55 grain fmj's reasonable. Any advice on these would be appreciated.

Thank you.

They suck.  Very inconsistent and not very accurate IMHO.

Montana Gold and Hornady are the only way to go for me.

ETA: Here is my .55gr FMJ ranking (all the brands I've tried)...

1.) Sierra (great, but expensive)
2.) Montana Gold
3.) Hornady (2&3 are close)
4.) Federal/ Lake City (new production, not pulldowns)
5.) PRVI
6.) Remington
7.) Armscor
8.) Winchester (7&8 are close)

Accuracy was not that great and overall length when loaded varied more than I was use to.  Was getting groups in the 3" to 5" size at 100 yards.  They would make good plinking fun rounds at closer distances (50 yards or so), but I would avoid if shots would be longer.  Went with Hornady FMJ and much happier.

Using Armscor's 62 grain bullets with various powder loads. Using the A3 sights on my 6721 I'm having no problem what so ever terrorizing an 18" steel plate 200 yards down range. Grouping inside 9" with iron sights. Great plinking ammunition.

Comparable to Winchester, they're cheap but inconsistent. OK for blasting ammo

The newer stuff seems to be a bit better, but still really what I consider a bulk bullet.

I just got a couple cases of the 55 grain stuff in; I'll try to get some data on them up so everybody can see.
