picked up 600 odd pieces of .223\556 brass from range today... left over from local police department training... so it's Lake City, WCC,  and FC brass... I'm just going to load these with 62 grain FMJ for plinking..... what, if any will be the difference in inches at 200 yards by sorting or not ?? Thanks.

negligible if any difference .... for plinking why bother though?

Curiosity,,, just had that uncontrollable urge to ask............ We have a gong set at 200 yards ( 18" steel plate ) just need to hit that. So for an inch difference it's not worth sorting................................. Thanks, Merry Chrtistmas  !

No diff.  I separate it by headstamp for initial case prep so that I get any brass that requires trimming off to the side.
