I'm needing a powder throw to complete my reloading kit. I have been looking at the Redding 3BR. Have any of you guys had any experience with this powder throw.

Sir, I've used a Redding 3BR for many years, I replaced an RCBS Uniflow measure with it.  It is an excellent tool for the purpose and quite precise given consistant operator interface.  I won't say the Harrell's measures are more accurate except to mention that besides being significantly more expensive they are more forgiving of inconsistant operator technique.  Truthfully, I think the 3BR measure is one of the best powder measures on the market and easily the best value.  HTH, 7zero1.

Redding's powder measures are among the best available without going the custom route. I own a BR-30 and it works very well. It will load any rifle round from 30-06 and smaller, maximum charge weight is about 50 grains with the BR-30. It was designed to throw benchrest weights in the 30 grain class (close to .223) with the most precision. It will also mount on a Dillon AT-500 or 550B if you want a better measure for extruded powders.

The only measures that I feel are superior to the Reddings is Harrell's Customs and Neil Jones and they are nearly twice the price and won't mount on a Dillon press.

I found a Redding #3 measure at a pawn shop, negotiated them down to 30 bucks Added a baffle from Midway... this thing is so tightly made I can feel it cut grains of H335. Throws 25 gr almost dead on every time

As you can see from the pic I have a Uniflow(junk) and a Redding BR3 that I use when I not using the Charge Master of Hornady press mounted PM, I love the Redding though.
