Now this may seem like a dumb question , but I 'm going to get some cal. conversions for a 550B . I see that there are diff. part #'s for 45ACP & 308 , now any other presses you use the same shell holders for 45acp,308,30'06 , why would the Dillon shell plate be any diff ? I can see the powder die and the like ,but both use lg. primers & they have to center the in the press the same .

I use a .45 ACP caliber conversion for .308, you just have to buy the .30 caliber  powder funnel...

I figured that much ,just wanted to make  sure.  I looked at that sight and must have missed that conversion  , I 'll blame it on age . Thanks.

I have it bookmarked, really is easier then trying to read the Dillon Manuals....just a few clicks.
