Hello, I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for chronographs? I was looking at the various models from Shooting-Chrono to the CED models. The issue is that the only ranges I have access to are indoors, and it seems one needs to buy a special light system to make it work, which often costs about half the chronographs' retail cost. What chronograph do you guys use for indoors use?

You need a special light if your indoor shooting range uses standard florescent lighting.  That's because florescent tubes flicker at 120 times a second, which interferes with the chrony's light sensors. (some newer fluorescents are high frequency, but the problem is still there in principle)

As for which chrony to get, but whatever Midway has on sale this month.

I bought the Shooting Chrony.   Still haven't gotten it to work.  Nothing but error 1!  I suggest you read the reviews on Midway before you buy one.

I use the Chrony F1.  It's simple, but it works good, IMO.

CED Millenium is what I use.  If you need special lights to make it work, well, then you need special lights.  Buy them and don't worry about it.
