Hello all, I have an extra Rotor for my Little Dandy Powder measure, and I was curious if these
rotors could be drilled? The load that I am trying to perfect out of my Little Dandy is a 9MM
charge of AA#5 (5.6 Gr) for a 124Gr LRN bullet.

My problem is that it is always throwing a charge just under 5.6 Gr unless I tap the side of the
unit, and quite frankly if I have to keep doing that, then I will just go back to my Lyman 55, which
worked like a dream with this charge.

So my question is, can I slightly drill out my rotor which will give me the extra charge that I'm
missing from having to tap the side of my Powder measure?

Before anyone chimes in and says for me to try a larger rotor, I have already tried that and it's
too large for the charge I'm trying to throw.

I would hate to change my charge since I'm having awesome results out of my Glock 19 with a
Wolf Bbl.

So, are these things able to drill out, or are they too hard?

Don't know about your little Dandy, but with powder bushings in shotgun reloading,

when I had the same problem as you, I would use the larger size bushing.

Then adjust the charge weight with strips of masking tape inside the bushing to decrease the charge thrown.

No reason you can't drill the bushing larger, if you can.

With the tape method, you can reverse your modifications to the bushing.
