Does anyone have any load data for these boolits.  I just got them and Hornady does not have any posted as of yet.  I would prefer data for WST, WSF, or Tightgroup as these are the powders I have on hand.

Thanks in advance.

ETA:  They are 200gr

What is the bullet weight? I have no data for those but any starting data for comparable bullet weight should be safe. Work up from there.

OOOPS.  The weight is 200g.  I was considering that but cant find a comparable for the 45 ftx.  The flex tip is something I havent seen in a 45 before.

I was wondering if the xtp data would be a good place to start.

I have some that I load for a revolver cartridge.  I think you are going to have seating depth/OAL issues if you are going to shoot them through a magazine.  The shape makes them quite long.

Those bullets are not meant to be used in the 45ACP jacket bullets run 0.451" and the FTX are size .452" meant for use in 45 LC, 454, 460 etc.....

Thats interesting to know.  I expected the length issues but not the diameter problem.  The Sierra's I used before are .4515.  I will have to measure the actual diameter to see what it really is.

If they wont work ill have to by a long colt.

They are NOT meant for the 45ACP, they are meant to be used in cartridge loaded in Lever guns...or to use with heavy hitting 45Cal revolvers.......
