Just bought a lee powder drop and it leaks powder out of the left side where the cam or wheel mechanism is at. Anyone else have one that does this? Is there a fix before I tear it open tomorrow and start tinkering with it? No biggie as I only spent $15 on it, however it's annoying as shit seeing powder leak every time I drop a charge. Thanks for any help fellas!

I have had that same issue with mine for the past 3 or more
years. It's just the way it works, you can tighten up the screw
on the side to slow the spillage down a bit, but it won't stop.
I switched to using stick powder to avoid that problem, but now
I get that crunch when you break kernals

The rotor drum is Nylon, cast with the aluminum barrel.  This can cause it to warp over time. Mine did it until I fashioned a wedge which pushes the aluminum barrel away from the drum.  I discovered this by blowing into the powder outlet and cycling the measure.  It would only leak in certain positions.  With this wedge, it won't ever leak since the rotor is free from distortion.  It does not touch the stationary bracket.  There is a small lip which holds it in place.

Thank you fellas! I will give that a shot as well. Kinda bummed as it holds the measure well so I don't want to chuck it.

BTW, that is some of my fine handiwork with a Dremel
.  I used sanding drum for most of the shaping, then cut it off and hand file to dimension, cutting the lip (hidden) which holds it in place.  Does not leak at all, not even with AA#5.
