I just might be asking a stupid question, but here it goes.  I had a single shot .223 I had been loading for and now have sold it.  I have some leftover brass that is primed and resized.  I wanted to use it in my new AR but the shoulder is apparently not set back far enough and gets stuck in the chamber.  After readjusting the sizing die to set the shoulder back the brass now comes out of the chamber easily.  My question is has anybody ever resized primed brass and reused the spent primers or should I just pitch the spent primers because of the chance of getting lube in them.

I'm going to assume here that the primers are not fired.. If that's the case, for the primers you already have removed, re-use them in your re-sized cases and go from there.

In the future, you can remove the decapping pin on the resize die...

Sometimes I get ahead of myself and don't completely think things through  I will give that a try.  Thanks!
