Does anyone have a current Nosler reloading manual laying around?
Need some load data for the .224 cal 60gr ballistic tip w/Cann BC .270 SD .171 Only powder i have on hand is BL-C (2) Or IMR 4895 Thanks. |

The Nosler manual doesn't list anything for BLC-2.
But for IMR4895 it list: 23.5gr @ 2,860 fps, 94% load Density 24.5gr @ 2,980 fps, 98% load Density *25.5gr @ 3,131 fps, **102% load Density (Max load and compressed, approach with caution) (Also listed as most accurate load tested with this powder and gun) This info is from a 24"Lilja 1-12 twist barrel using Rem. 7 1/2 primers with an OAL of 2.260", and for a 60gr Partition Spitzer BC .228 & SD .171 (close as they listed for what you want) |
| Find a bullet weight that is close and go with that if there is not one listed . There are a couple bullets I use a lot of that there is NO data listed and I just take a similar style bullet within a few grains and make a test load to test . No need to be anal over a couple grains of bullet weight . |
