So someone gave me one of these outta the blue, and I had never heard of it so I said what the heck its free ill make it work for me. Unfortunately I can NEVER get it timed properly to do the indexing correctly. I do exactly as the instructions say and still no results, then I tweaked that too and nothing. Im guessing this is a problem theyve always had? any info you guys have ill appreciate.

I don't have one of these, so I'm not much direct help.  But, what I do recommend is to call RCBS.  They will either help you set it up, or have you send it in so they can repair it.

The 4x4 has a problem with the index drive.

There is a plastic bushing and a one way roller in the top of the press.

The twisted hex area on the actuator shaft tears up the plastic insert.

RCBS has given me extras for a phone call.

I have made another insert out of brass.

It is thin enough so that the pitch on the actuator shaft does not tear it up.
