| will there really be any large rifle and small pistol primers on shelves or at online stores like grafs or midway as i see midway has a no backorder policy and grafs dont update there inventory site as i check every day for large rifle primers as i have reloaded for 30 years and did not stock up but why cant we really buy primers???? I am about to sell all my reloading equipment and just about to just buy ammo as for 2 months i have been looking not 1 primer unless i buy from the rich folks who bought them all up and now want $100 + FOR 1000 primers.Why is loaded ammo on these sites such as midway,grafs,natchez,cavelas and such just about non existint even for off the wall calibers???Really is strange. |
| There are millions of primers being made. The thing is, p[eople are buying them in vast quantities - 5,000 to 10,000 at a time, instead of the 1,000 at a time they normally do. This demand has depleted the stock everywhere. Backorderrs are also vast, consuming all new deliveries before they hit the shelves. |
| primers and powder not to mention brass and projectiles too, and dies as well, anything for reloading is going for a high price. I had made the mistake of getting SP magnums and I put them up for trade FTF and no one at all has contacted me. although I did find someone with 500 LR today but that was about it. |
